Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using AI Doctor (the “Service”) at aidoctor.study, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. The Service

AI Doctor provides AI-generated explanations, flashcards, quizzes, clinical-case walkthroughs, and related study tools for medical and nursing students. Features, subjects, and availability may change at any time.

3. Educational use & no professional advice

The Service is for learning and revision only. It does not provide medical, diagnostic, treatment, legal, or professional advice, and must never be used for real patient care or clinical decision-making. Always confirm information with authoritative sources and qualified professionals.

4. Accounts

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information and be old enough to use the Service in your jurisdiction (at least 16).

5. Acceptable use

• Do not use the Service for unlawful, harmful, or abusive purposes.
• Do not attempt to reverse engineer, scrape at scale, overload, or disrupt the Service.
• Do not submit real patient-identifiable data or confidential information into the AI features.
• Do not misrepresent AI output as verified medical fact.

6. Subscriptions & payments

AI Doctor offers a free tier and a paid “Pro” plan. Payments are processed by our third-party payment provider (Gumroad). Prices, features, and limits may change. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable. You can cancel a subscription at any time; access continues until the end of the current billing period.

7. Intellectual property

The Service, including its design, branding, and software, is owned by AI Doctor and protected by applicable laws. You may not copy, resell, or create derivative products from the Service without permission.

8. Your content

You retain ownership of the content you submit. You grant us a limited license to process it solely to operate and improve the Service (including sending it to AI providers to generate responses).

9. Disclaimer of warranties

THE SERVICE AND ALL AI-GENERATED CONTENT ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE”, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING ACCURACY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, RELIABILITY, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE CONTENT IS CORRECT, COMPLETE, OR SUITABLE FOR ANY EXAM OR CLINICAL PURPOSE.

10. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, AI DOCTOR, ITS OPERATORS, AND PARTNERS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS, INJURY, EXAM RESULT, OR HARM ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF, OR RELIANCE ON, THE SERVICE OR ITS AI-GENERATED CONTENT — EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM (OR USD $0 IF YOU USE THE FREE TIER). NOTHING IN THESE TERMS EXCLUDES LIABILITY THAT CANNOT BE EXCLUDED BY LAW.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless AI Doctor and its operators from any claims, damages, or expenses arising out of your misuse of the Service or violation of these Terms.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by applicable law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any disputes will be handled in the courts of the operator's principal place of business, unless mandatory local law provides otherwise.

13. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
